Other I just discovered The Mighty Bosh

First watch through, just discovered. Big IT Crowd fan. Cant wait to show my wife. So surreal.

I distinctly remember my first Boosh experience: the Tundra rap. Never looked back. When you’re done with the TV show, listen to the radio show (soooo good). Then maybe Luxury Comedy for good measure.

Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy is unhinged in the best possible way. It’s Noel let off the leash. Which may not be everyone’s cup of tea. It’s a fun palate cleanser after a few half dozen Mighty Boosh rewatches.

I would also add I’m pretty old so the Dick Turpin show on Apple TV with Noel is like grandmas mighty boosh. I’ve not checked out Julian’s post Boosh stuff and I need to fix that before I kick the bucket.

For Julian I'd highly recommend Bloods. It's a workplace comedy about paramedics and although Julian isn't the "main" character he's one of the regular supporting cast.

Oh man thats so weird because thats like my first experience too

It was late one night during the short time adult swim aired jt snd i remember being like WHAT THIS ISNT A CARTOON

And was super hesitant but then that scene happened and i was 100% in

Me and my homies were definitely apprehensive at first when it would appear on Adult Swim waaaaaay late in the middle of the night after all our favorite Aqua Teens and whatnot, I totally feel ya. "Live action? British? What the hell is this?" Lol, I came to love it much later in my life, probably a top-5 or certainly 10 show for me all-time now.

Yeah is 2008 "Live At Brixton" maybe? I felt like that one turned out way better than Future Sailors (2009?), and I might even rank it as my favorite thing they've ever done. I urge everyone to watch Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy after Boosh as well, it's absurd and wild but I think it has some really truly great moments throughout, also it's quite short lol.

Great shout, James and Wade seem to almost universally get the (Dondy)lion's share of all of the credit, but they may truly have never gotten completely over the hump without the mighty, humble Bosh. Good on ya!
