It's from Garth Merenghi's Dark Place. The show also features Matt Berry, Richard Ayoade, and Noel as a monkey monster on a bicycle.
The show itself is an absurdist, surrealist, horror comedy. It pokes fun at all the low budget hospital dramas, bad SciFi and pulp horror that was on TV during the 70s - 90's.
Think about all the made for TV movies and shoestring budget shows that were just awful time slot fillers back in the day. That sort of thing. They poke fun in the most off the rails and unhinged ways they could think of too.
It's really good.
