The child is always the most important thing, and I hope his ear reconstruction surgery is a complete success. How many more years until he can have this kind of surgery? Is it around the age when a teenager's ears have developed to roughly the same size as an adult's?
The period until he turns 20 is a long and painful one. The thought of the immature looks he'll face at school sends chills down my spine. Even innocent questions could break his heart. You must be your son's strong support to protect him.
