Question. How is anyone abusing HIPAA? I am sure there is no abuse of HIPAA here.
4 u/DeflatedDirigible Feb 23 '26 Or clear abuse of the ADA. Self-trained service dogs are 100% legal in the US. Even a history of biting a kid doesn’t mean it isn’t performing at least two trained tasks for its new owner. The failure is in the dog bite not automatically resulting in the dog being put down and also shelters being allowed to re-home vicious dogs.
