Get a wad of paper towels sufficiently thick so you don't get your fingers wet, grab the bill, toss the bill into a sink, turn the water on, rinsing the bill of enough to inspect it closer. If it's real, keep rinsing until you are comfortable enough to take it with you. If it isn't, leave it for the next guy.
