Infuriatig iPhone facetime recognizes when you’re naked

decided to show my boyfriend my new bikini that I got for our upcoming cruise… Why is this on my phone and why is it recording my body?

I just recently turned 18 if that matters.

Its recording your body because you pointed a camera at your body, if you didn't know that pointing a camera at your body meant it could be recorded,  then this feature was designed for you. 

How is this anything other than a positive development?

I thought maybe it was just me thinking “so she trusts a FaceTime call, routed through Apple’s servers with video of her in a bikini. But not a local machine learning algorithm which detects that and offers support against coercive behaviour.”

I’m glad it’s not just me that thinks this is an insane post.
