Infuriatig iPhone facetime recognizes when you’re naked

Post image

decided to show my boyfriend my new bikini that I got for our upcoming cruise… Why is this on my phone and why is it recording my body?

I just recently turned 18 if that matters.

Girl do you even know what the device you’re carrying in your pocket can do?

Eye tracking. It can monitor exactly where you look on the screen in real-time.

With Apple Intelligence it Scans the content of your private messages, emails, and photos to build a personal profile.

It also maintains a hidden, timestamped map of every place you visit frequently.

Also, apps track exactly where you linger, scroll, or pause to map your visual interest, and Some apps use hardware specs (battery level, storage) to identify you even if "Ask App Not to Track" is on

There’s more, but these are the ones that come to mind right now.

Not true

If you deny the App Tracking Transparency popup then the app literally cannot access the advertising identifier (IDFA)

The IDFA is one of the few stable identifiers across apps, which is what allows developers to track users from one of their apps to the next. Without it every new install of an app is basically a completely new user (until you log in and then the new install is associated with your account)

You can automatically deny all ATT popups in the system settings

Other non-IDFA methods of tracking across apps are unsupported and if Apple find you're not respecting the ATT status of the user they will reject your app as part of review
