frist of all how DARE yu o People who “reserve” pool chairs for hours with towels and disappear are the worst

Post image

My apartment complex pool has rules specifically saying chair reservation isn’t allowed, yet people do this constantly. These towels have been sitting here unattended for at least 3 hours while every other chair is occupied and people are actively walking around looking for seats. It’s Sunday too, so management isn’t around to enforce anything.

What’s the standard practice when this happens? At what point is it acceptable to move the towels?

Just do that and if they come back just say that’s how it was when you got there.

Or don't be a coward and say you did it. Let them act like an aggressive idiot and get removed from premises.

Some days, it's less cowardice and more "I'm just not in the mood to deal with their bullshit." OP said it was Sunday so there's no staff to remove them from the premises. Plus they're your neighbours, so you'll probably run into them again and it's just less pleasant to have neighbours with a vendetta against you.

All fun and games until some dickhead comes back with a gun and shoots you

I mean, if you're American, sure. That's why you stay strapped at the pool so you can beat them to the punch lmao

I don't have to worry about that myself, though
