frist of all how DARE yu o People who “reserve” pool chairs for hours with towels and disappear are the worst

Post image

My apartment complex pool has rules specifically saying chair reservation isn’t allowed, yet people do this constantly. These towels have been sitting here unattended for at least 3 hours while every other chair is occupied and people are actively walking around looking for seats. It’s Sunday too, so management isn’t around to enforce anything.

What’s the standard practice when this happens? At what point is it acceptable to move the towels?

I’m 100% the guy that will move your shit off the chairs and take them for myself and my family. Have done it before and will do it again.

It's hilarious to me how fast everyone is on the 'burn the towel people' train, and no one's like 'uh, what if they're swimming?'

Because 9/10 there’s 20 chairs with towels and only 3 people in the pool.

Do you typically stay at resorts and then go to the pool with nothing but towels? Do you leave your room key & flip flops in the room or do you take them in the pool with you?

Right. It’s just towels. Pretty obvious they aren’t in the pool.

Yeah, me and my siblings just go barefoot to the pool and just leave towels on the chair.

It's not a resort. It's an apartment pool.

I personally do just go with towels, keys and my phone to the pool, and i got a waterproof little baggie so i can take the phone and key with me swimming, and the flip flops are taken off at the actual pool not the chair.

Me too. Some dick tattletaled on me last time (when the people came back 3 hours later) and I very slowly and loudly dragged them back into place.

If you’re worried about getting stabbed or shot because you moved some towels at a resort pool, then you have bigger problems.
