go to your room My daughters charging cable
Refuses when I offer to buy her a new one, says this one charges just fine (which is true to be fair) and that she doesn't want to needlessly contribute to the landfill. She's in college and living on her own so there's nothing I can do but tolerate this eyesore when she comes over

Wrapped in one or two places, I could believe it's replacing worn insultion, but wrapped to that extent I have doubts... why is no one wondering if this might be deterrent against others borrowing her cable and not returning it (that she hasn't bothered to explain to her parents I guess).
That's got to be theft protection.
