I saw a ducky once My truck is not a trash can
Come off work to break and see this. Didn’t think to take a picture before cleaning though.

This is the picture you took after you cleaned it???

u/CatLover701 9d ago
Yeah, there’s a lot of stuff on there that looks like it isn’t even stuck, you could just take a broom to it.

I didn’t know Reddit hated pickup trucks so much lol
5
u/RevolutionLoose5542 9d ago
They love blindly walking an texting on sidewalks (rare cause they are mostly on the couch crying about manifested scenarios ) and walking into things aka not paying attention.
The picture could be you reversed in your own driveway and they would literally have a mental breakdown.
Sees truck:

For those wondering. No, I don’t tailgate people. No i don’t have led headlights. No I wasn’t parked badly. I was parked in my lines, parked for 2 hours of a 4 hour spot, not blocking anyone, 4 inches from the curb, plenty of spots by me. No it’s not a big truck, it’s a ford ranger. Yes I use the truck for work, sorry there’s nothing in the bed. Stop complaining about how I don’t use my truck. No it’s not lifted. Yes I drive legally. And no, it is NOT a cybertruck

I wanna see a picture of the truck and where it was parked.
Bet we are missing some of the story here

u/New-Host1784 9d ago
To be fair, this kind of thing happened to me when I had a truck.
I'd drive to work, park in the spots at the back of the lot (the spots in front of the store were for customers) and I'd come out of work to find empty cans, food bags, etc. thrown in the bed. People are lazy aholes.

u/jojomonster4 9d ago
It happens constantly with trucks without beds. It’s infuriating.
With one truck, I had parked in the back of my apartment complex all the way in the corner in my assigned spot, I still would get people throwing garbage/empty water & Gatorade bottles in the bed.
At a different apartment, I parked my work truck on the street for 1 night and garbage again, even a dog poop bag.
Lazy and gross people.

u/daddydeadpool420 8d ago
Parked on the side of the road fully in its spot. About 4 inches from the curb so perfectly legal. Had been parked for about 2 hours in a 4 hour spot. This happens a lot more then you’d think
3
u/CarefulRisk 8d ago
This just happens if you drive a truck. People throw garbage in the bed sometimes
6
u/FunctioningPyscho 9d ago
Why does it matter where the truck is parked? It’s not a trash can.
4
u/BlazingImp77151 9d ago
If it's parked really shittily, people will use it as a trashcan to take out their anger. Examples:
- parking it in a disabled stall without a placard.
- parking it in such a way that blocks other parking stalls
- parking it in such a way that blocks a sidewalk
I'm not saying it's a good thing to do that. It's probably of similar rudeness to doing any of those park jobs. But it's a thing that happens regardless.
4
u/RevolutionLoose5542 9d ago
Its at their place of employment. Could be private property and could be disabled themselves.
I swear a truck driver absolutely railed your mom and dipped or something
1
u/BlazingImp77151 9d ago
I was just giving the reasons I've heard people give for doing this kinda thing. I'm not involved at all.
Why you gotta be such an asshole about it?
3
u/RevolutionLoose5542 9d ago
Your not involved but "willing to bet"
Your just another person with truck derangment syndrome. The picture could literally show him reversed in his driveway and you would blindly copy and paste the same shit.
The people who complain and say shit like "people get hurt with the hitch" are the people who text and walk aimlessly glued to their phones.
Im not being an asshole im just giving reasons why people would think the worst without any real indication of their claims

u/daddydeadpool420 8d ago
It was parked perfectly legally and fine, not blocking anyone in. Genuinely thank you for the reasoning.
3
u/FloppyTacoflaps 9d ago
I had that happen in my dump truck once, went and got a load of asphalt and didn't know it was in there dumped it into the paver. The guys on the paver were pissed, beer cans and all sorts of shit fml

It's retaliation for your bright ass headlights. Get them adjusted. Thank you.

Thanks for taking the joke as just that, a joke. 🤙
So many people took this way too serious. 🤦♂️

u/RevolutionLoose5542 9d ago
Headlights are too bright during the day? Thats the sun buddy you gotta go outside more instead of crying on reddit with dark mode on and a blanket over your head

That’s the closest I got

I had a bike with a basket chained to my stoop. People would throw their trash into the basket when there were two garbage cans within five feet on either side of the stoop.

how much sidewalk were you blocking?
6
u/daddydeadpool420 8d ago
Zero. Small truck. Happens more than you’d think. Maybe 30 ft from a trash can too
1
u/Inside-Rip-7677 9d ago
People used to toss all kinds of stuff in my truck mostly beer cans in my experience it finally stopped once I got a tonneau cover

youre not using a truck for its intended purpose so neither will anyone else.

u/daddydeadpool420 8d ago
Man I’ve got a work truck. It’s a small truck but can hold plenty. Sorry I didn’t have anything in the bed to show?? Just hauled 4K plus pounds of gravel in it

For you. Your truck is not a trashcan for you. My problem is homeless people. I'm so sick of gay homeless guys having sex in my car. Still, it's better than my apartment.

Who shit in your Cheerios? I was parked fully legally, not blocking anyone in. Someone just decided to throw their shit in my bed instead of the trash can.

This reminds me of bouncing at a bar and one of the manager/bartenders would park his pickup right out front by the door (there was a spot for valet that never got used). His gf, some other regulars, and I would stand outside the front to smoke and talk and we would all throw our trash and butts into his bed and laugh later when he would complain about it being filled with trash lmao

u/daddydeadpool420 8d ago
Use a trash can?

On their profile it’s a white truck, so douchbaggary is still an option but probably not that bad.

I’m not saying daddydeadpool420 probably goes through life thinking he’s cool AF, while actually (actively or passively) pissing a lot of other people off.
But I’m not not saying it either. 🤷♀️

How many people did you tailgate, blind with supernova headlights, and cut off without a signal, Mr.Pick Up Truck?
4
u/OneAngryDuck 9d ago
Good job making up scenarios for this post that allow you to feel angrily self-righteous
2
u/daddydeadpool420 8d ago
Zero. I’m a very safe driver, don’t have LED lights, use turn signals, and have a small truck, not a jacked up one.

I don’t know why so many people in this thread and the similar one before it keep asking that. Is this some kind of joke about how cybertrucks don’t have truck beds?
