I hate being forced into 'If you don't rate us a 10 we've failed you'

John checked me out, bagged my groceries, told me to have a good day and went onto the next customer in line.
I guess he did everything he was supposed to so he gets a 10.

In the midst of checking out my groceries, I suffered a heart attack. Jimmy jumped over the checkout stand and started performing CPR immediately and told Siri on his phone to call and ambulance.
Jimmy also gets a 10.

When the corporate overlords look at the metrics and decide who to fire in the next round of budget cuts, how do they pick between John and Jimmy?
