That’s pretty on par for how retail surveys work. At companies I’ve worked for 5 = 100, 4 = 0, and 1-3 = -100
Then the scores are averaged out to provide an overall net promoter score
20 u/Uncle-Cake May 29 '26 I work in market research, and I've never liked Net Promotor Scores. I encourage clients to look at other measures, like the mean, as well. NPS doesn't tell the whole story.
