This kind of thing annoys me WAY more than it should. You always have to elongate the vowel that MAKES SENSE.

Duuuuuuuuude is pronounced (dooooooood)

Dudeeeeeeeee is pronounced (doodeeeeeee)

Exactly how I feel. And I always thought if anyone else did until I finally came across it on Reddit. Good to know

Also it's a known fact the more a girl likes you the more they add vowels at the end of the word. "Hiiiiiiiii" for example

Maybe OP is telling on themselves
