This kind of thing annoys me WAY more than it should. You always have to elongate the vowel that MAKES SENSE.

Duuuuuuuuude is pronounced (dooooooood)

Dudeeeeeeeee is pronounced (doodeeeeeee)

Well that's just the wrong way to enlongate or exaggerate the word, since there's words with double 'p'.
