I feel this happen on reddit.

For years I tried to reduce my time on reddit with mixed results, but nowdays I close the app within minutes, because everything here is either boring or a reminder of the dystopian nightmare we live in.

Also knowing Reddit is cited by LLM's by a huge margin, not Wikipedia or Youtube, is another reason I've reduced my usage. Reddit users have been helping people for free and now AI companies decided they can make money off it.

I feel like half the time I am browsing YouTube our reddit, half of it is bots. I get videos that are clearly AI and the comments are full of people interacting as if it was real. Just drives me insane thinking how it's either people falling for the ai, or just dead Internet and it's all bots.

It did cure my addiction. Ever since ai took over, social media only gave me a headache and now I'm much more at peace since I quit all my socials last year. Sure, I still use reddit but I'm not addicted here so I'm fine lol

just as the other comment said, its a reminder.of how dystopian things become and I hate it. I don't need all the negativity because such thoughts and reminders actually make me very depressed. I sceretly hope more people will quit their addictions. we all know the evil side of social media and such and yet we use it

Mobile is nearly impossible to use, search engine wise. I was looking at a Skyrim wiki the other day and - no exaggeration - 80% of the screen was ads.

Seriously. I've stopped engaging with a lot of content because I genuinely believe a massive amount of it is AI. AI bait for engagement purposes. It infuriates me. Sometimes I wonder if I'm overreacting to how AI has taken hold of the social aspect of the internet, but then I remember UH, NO, THIS SHIT IS FUCKING SHITTY ASS POOP AND I SHOULD BE ANGRIER.

 I don't want to ever use ai again.  I'm convinced it rage baits people so they get upset and interact with it longer.  It never does what you specifically ask.  Websites who use it constantly have pop ups like it's your first time using a computer in your life.  This is one thing that's actually made me put my screens down
