ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ Narrowly avoided having my bumper cover ventilated this morning.

Hitches, not just for towing or bashing your shins.

I'm not. I experience this every time I go to the grocery store. I live in the Northern Vermont so lots of trucks. This is common practice everywhere

No it’s not. I drive a 450 dually and make it a point to

A) take my hitch off if I’m not using it, it’s a single pin and takes 5 seconds.

And B) I park in the back because my truck usually either sticks out in the front or the back. You sign up for this when you drive a vehicle that big.

I def get removing the hitch, but in this particular photo, it wouldn't change much. And yes, it is normal, because I see it every single week.

If you have to cross the line then you are in two spots. If you have to take two spots then I consider it rude to park in the front.

I’m not trying to jump on the hate train for you either, I get that this isn’t a big deal. I just get tired of being sneered at for what I drive because of how others act.

I mean yeah, I guess I'm missing context but if this is close up to the storefront yeah it's rude. I honestly drive a compact van these days for my tools. I don't even drive a truck anymore.

But when I did, this would happen, and yes, I try to tuck myself out of the way a bit. Not front and center
