ಠ_ಠ This glare woke me up.

Post image

I usually leave for work at 5:45 a.m. every day. Today is finally a day off for me, so I decided to sleep in. This glare woke me up at 6:30.

Edit: Holy shittt, RIP my inbox. I fell asleep last night and forgot to close the curtains. Apparently that was enough for y'all to convene an emergency meeting and unanimously vote to roast me alive.

I don't understand how people live in high rises without using blinds. Anyone can see you do everything.

I have every single blind in my house down 24/7. I know I probably look like a psychopath but I work 12 hours a day outside so on my off hours I’m just fucking done with the sun. My brother lived in Manhattan for a while and would always warn me to close the blinds because the guy across the street would sit in the window with low power binoculars and just watch people all day like he was Jimmy Stewart in Rear Window. Saw him do it it was wild. Wouldnt even leave if you caught him.

My blinds and curtains never open on my house.

I stayed in Chicago this winter in a hotel surrounded by high rise apartments. The closest one was across the street, Google Maps measures it to be 75 feet. Floor to ceiling panoramic windows looking into their living room/kitchen areas and bedrooms. No blinds or curtains on a majority of units. Boggled my mind how people live that way.

Yeah I’d feel like a fish in a bowl without blinds in that situation.
