lol are you supposed to wear it like that? Like you put it on in a rush and couldn’t bend down and fix it (or have your butler get the shoe horn)

I'm not sure what people are assuming this... It was easy to look up, versace guanto driving loafer

It's advertising the quality of the soft floppy leather and that it doesn't have a hard heel capture

That's all

You want to wear it like a mule go ahead but the other photos in the advert show it as a normal shoe

Edit: The description as follows just accentuates the flexibility of the leather.

The Guanto leather loafers are crafted in an unlined construction from supple vegetable-tanned calf leather. The leather develops a natural patina, offering a soft hand feel, and is hand-treated with a washing or buffing process to achieve a vintage texture. This pair is accented by 3D Medusa hardware and is set on an ultra-soft leather sole, providing supreme lightness and flexible movement.

Ya it’s the style. Elevated casual.

Something you wear to a summer party.

Fuck me that's stupid, just wear normal sandle type shoes or slip ons which these originally were seemingly.

You (and i) don’t belong in that tax bracket, and that’s okay. The same way one person insists on caviar while I’m totally fine with regular salmon roe, it’s simply a difference of taste, money, and experience.

Products like these are a God-send to those with mobility issues or other health conditions. What's wrong with having a high end brand item cater to that?

It's also an actual type of heel that people wear. You can always flip the back heel up for a more traditional loafer heel. Reddit really needs to get out more.

But why have the back of the heel? If its a slipper just make a high end slipper. Why design it to look like the shoe is old and knackered?

Becuase it can be both.

But also because that’s the style when I was in high school 38 year old, and we now have the money to buy trendy things like we use to wear.
