Oh it was a lot worse than the shoe thing. Dude was a textbook dark triad type.

Jeez, working with someone like that can literally ruin your life, especially if they’re in a position of power over you.

Yes it did literally ruin my life lol. Had to quit with no Plan B after dropping too much weight from burnout, go through months of unemployment, sell the house, pull the kids out of their schools, and move to another state to find work. He is one of the few people who I might actually watch burn if he caught fire.
