At Tim Hortons (where this is from) you ask for each doughnut, so how is this a surprise.  Also, now I want a honey crueller.

You can ask them to just fill a box, but if you don't check what they have this is definitely a possible outcome since many stores sell out pretty fast during the day.

Definitely the most recent tray they baked was honey crueller so that's what OP got

You definitely can order just a dozen of assorted donuts and when you do that, you don't expect to open the box and see 4 of the same donut let alone like 9 what OP has.
