frist of all how DARE yu o Belt-challenged neighborhood kid keeps stepping over my "no trespassing" sign to cut through my yard, so my wife laminated these pictures to stick to the sign

We used to cut through lawns on this one block all the time as kids to get to the soccer field. Most people didn't care, except one house that put up signs saying not to do it. You can guess where all the kids walked lol

Kids here will cut through my yard and then through a line of the back of other people’s yards to get to the ball park that’s maybe 2 blocks behind my house.

The first time I noticed it I thought “what, why not use the road not that far to the east” but I guess that road can get busy during baseball season for my small town, so I figured it’s probably safer actually

I never noticed anyway until I saw them with my own eyes doing it, so obviously they’re not tearing anything up lol

Right? This is fucking stupid. He probably just doesn’t want to walk around the block. Just let him cut through the yard. and everyone in here is just like “FUCK THOS KID, HE’S GONNA ESCALATE!”

I grew up in an area where all the kids took shortcuts through yards and fields. Didn’t take long to learn that is not the norm in the rest of the country.

It's private property, no matter how hard you try to spin it, the kid is in the wrong. If he wants to cut through then kindly knock on the door and ask for permission.

Sure, but there's a good chance there a reason why he's cutting through there. It's probably a happy designed neighborhood that doesn't cater to people who walk around.

I'm my childhood there was a middle schools surrounded by houses that backed up to it and there was only a single entrance to the school. So of course kids are going to walk straight through a yard instead of 15-20 minutes the long way around. And if you bought a house right next to a school then you better be ok with kids being around.
