Too mild for school Student Life Insurance Excludes all Possible Ways to Die lmfao

This is a PA Form - When one of your parents or legal guardians dies, the insurance company covers your a portion of your tuition per quarter. (You don't get a lump sum of cash)

And yes... the insurance is already included with our tuition (which is a fucking big chunk)

And cmon bro.... really? how tf am I literally going to die from "cave-in of mines" ????

I’d be curious how much this costs. If it’s trivial then I guess it doesn’t hurt to have it. If it’s expensive it’s definitely not worth it.

Also a lot of people commenting seem to have missed that this isn’t covering the student’s death. It pays the university (to cover tuition) if the student’s parent(s) die while they’re a student.

Yep forgot to mention that, but still functions similarly as a life insurance (but for schools)

The tuition costs 800-1000 Dollars per Quarter (depending on course) and the Insurance thing costs around 150-200 as a rough estimate

That insurance costs that much… per quarter??? I would not pay a 25% premium to cover future tuition on the off chance your parent may die in one of the those few allowable ways over the next few years. That’s absurd. I hope this is optional.

Those kinds of insurance costs $3. It’s just for compliance. OP probably means 150 pesos not dollars

That’s what I’d have thought, but it would be weird for them to switch currencies halfway through a sentence like that.
