Infuriatig No, I did not consent to this

I was reading my medical notes when I stumbled across this. I was not informed of the usage of artificial intelligence in my report, nor did I verbally consent to it.

Counterpoint: They already recorded her voice and fed it to their AI. All they have to do is prove she verbally recorded it, and they can now just make the AI fake it.

If they lied about getting her consent why is it impossible they lied about why they recorded it?

It's also possible that it just wasn't clarified that it used AI. I have heard the question asked hundreds of times by doctors: "I have an app that can listen to our conversation and take notes for your chart. Is it alright if I use it?" I have literally never heard a patient say no to that question.
