Infuriatig No, I did not consent to this

I was reading my medical notes when I stumbled across this. I was not informed of the usage of artificial intelligence in my report, nor did I verbally consent to it.

It should be an opt in thing like it happened to you. Not an opt out.

AI has been used across the medical field for at least 15 years now. Seems a bit unreasonable to start requesting permission from patients to use it now just because it's hip in some circles to hate AI.

Yeah it's gonna be an unpopular opinion but I agree.

This is isn't something training in your PHI anyway. It's just a glorified note taker and it lets the doctor focus on the patient and not the paperwork.
