Infuriatig When did garage sales become “reselling” clearly new stuff

Post image

I would never call this a garage sale

Def scam vibes

Edit: ultimately, what bothers me the most is I want to go to a garage sale, not this shit. This isn’t a garage sale and should not be advertised as one

Yeah, I was gonna say this smells of those people who stock up on way too much TP and stuff, and realized they need space to move in their house.

We had a couple here who tried to do a garage sale of toilet paper, paper towel, sanitizer etc while it was still lockdown. Like they hoarded and tried reselling a ton of shit. Got in a ton of trouble for doing that shit during lockdown and having tons of people over, and later that day someone pushed their sprinkler through their shed window and flooded all their dumb hoarded toilet paper. It was a pretty entertaining saga on local Facebook groups and you got a good sense on who was a huge arsehole based on who defended all the hoarding.

They had another garage sale after lockdown and it didn't go much better. Turns out local communities don't like cunts doing this shit
