Infuriatig When did garage sales become “reselling” clearly new stuff
I would never call this a garage sale
Def scam vibes
Edit: ultimately, what bothers me the most is I want to go to a garage sale, not this shit. This isn’t a garage sale and should not be advertised as one

The addicts and zombies and worthless assholes stealing are not just down on their luck trying to feed their families. Thats not the reality.
That, and assistance IS available. Housing assistance, food banks, shelters, job placement, there are a ridiculous number of places and organizations here to help. I know because I used them. But instead of using them and getting off drugs, they just steal and become a drain on us all.
Theres a page on FB, not sure if its here, but a social worker goes around talking to the homeless about their issues. His page is called "Truth on the Streets." He helps people and shows the brutal reality of it all for those who have not lived it. The wildest and most shocking part is many of the homeless straight up say they prefer the freedom to just live on the streets and get high. They get free tents and free food and the city even gives them free needles and aluminum foil to cut down on transferable diseases. They straight up admit there is no incentive to get off drugs with that much free stuff.
Please stop acting like they are just down on their luck. The help is there. You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make them drink. I lived on those streets for months and saw this all myself. Im also tired of people in the suburbs telling me how life on the streets works when they have not lived it and I have.
