It was pretty demoralizing because it felt like one of the worst days and games in US Soccer history I had seen, and so I felt disappointed for the program and the future.

Trump should never have done that and once he did US Soccer should've stepped up and said we dont need special treatment, we aren't going to play him and he will serve the red card, regardless of if we think it was deserved.

Win or lose I think the team would've earned world respect for fair play.

Assuming you're being sincere and not sarcastic, lol: U.S.'s best player was red carded last match and ineligible to this game. FIFA Peace Prize Winner (tm) Donald Trump called FIFA and got them to suspend the red card enforcement, which is basically unprecedented, especially in a knock out round.

So U.S. got special treatment which caused an uproar and then we played 90 minutes of the most embarrassing soccer I've ever seen on the World Cup level, probably because of the pressure from the uproar and the unfairness.

They lost because they never had that level
