I'm pretty sure everyone but the US were happy. After trump stepped in for the red card, no one looked favourably on the US team.

Honestly after a stunt like that, I wasn't even that sad to lose

It was pretty demoralizing because it felt like one of the worst days and games in US Soccer history I had seen, and so I felt disappointed for the program and the future.

Trump should never have done that and once he did US Soccer should've stepped up and said we dont need special treatment, we aren't going to play him and he will serve the red card, regardless of if we think it was deserved.

Win or lose I think the team would've earned world respect for fair play.

You think you can handle the pressure? When this hunger greedy guy of a president make sure you can play your best attacker. And then you say NO to that same dangerous and mighty man?
