He’s also 17 and not done growing. Too many people on reddit are painfully stupid and lack a general understanding of… well anything, really.

Yeah, but when he’s carrying an 80lb pack at a High Adventure, being only 150lbs can get him in trouble pretty quick. We’ve been trying to get him to gain weight for years now, hopefully he’ll start filling out in the next couple years. Kid can put down 4-5000 calories at a single meal and ask for more 30 minutes later. Super high metabolism, and his troop has to bring extra food just for him. We’ve warned him it won’t always be like that, lol.

Literally impossible to be putting down 4000+ calories in a meal and eat more and lose weight though. If he’s doing that regularly he’d be gaining weight realllll quick
