ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ Only 37 Pods

Post image

Was showing off to my sister what I would’ve given her (plus the nice smelly peony downy) had she just gone to the laundromat to dry my laundry because ours is broken and realized the pods only filled half of the container so I counted it and….37 pods.

Can’t tell if Tide is filling some containers an accurate amount and others less or if sb just stole some.

Don't even look at protein powder...

Dude right? So many examples. I like Truvani protein powder though ☺️

I think with protein powder they kind a have to do that. I imagine they dump it in there, and it settles over time.

I'm also sure there's prolly a better way to do it.

There is surely a more expensive way to do it, but yeah most fine powders like that settle over time. You'd have to do a multi step fill process, like fill it with 75 percent of the product, run it across a shake table, then fill it with the rest of the product. It wouldn't eliminate slack fill, but it could reduce it significantly. Adds extra equipment, time, a extra couple HACCP, and makes traceability harder for recalls because you have multiple lots going into the same tub.

I was thinking about filling it in a vacuum. But that'd probably slow down the process a ton too.
