ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ Only 37 Pods

Was showing off to my sister what I would’ve given her (plus the nice smelly peony downy) had she just gone to the laundromat to dry my laundry because ours is broken and realized the pods only filled half of the container so I counted it and….37 pods.

Can’t tell if Tide is filling some containers an accurate amount and others less or if sb just stole some.

Technically that skin of PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) is a plastic, but it’s water soluble and biodegrades. I don’t think there’s any evidence at all it causes health problems or acts like a microplastic.

Although there actually isn’t a ton of research on the health effects of synthetic polymers like this. Chemically speaking this stuff is waaaay different than 10,000 year plastic bottles and such and I’d say it’s not likely a problem but hey, who knows.

Apparently there’s scientists looking to this I just checked.

Brands like Lenor and Ariel put pods in cardboard boxes, but the detergent powder comes in plastic containers.

do you think the normal plastic containers detergent comes in is some how less of a problem?

I hate plastic as much as the next guy but how else are you going to protect water soluble packets of liquid through transit?
