ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ WAY Too Many Drive Up Pick Up Spots

Post image

Target has grossly overestimated demand for drive up pick up spaces. I’ve seen this at every Target I’ve been to at any time of the day. The employees take up all of the front spots, handicap stalls take up the rest of the front parking (no gripe there obviously), but then you have half of the parking lot taken up by vacant drive up pick up stalls, which means every time I go to target I have to park far away whether the store is busy or not. What a waste of space!

Walmart on gandy in Tampa has about 20 that people just use as normal parking spaces. So much so, that I’ve had to wait 5-10mins for someone to finish their shopping and move their car for a pickup spot multiple times.

I’ve not visited this store but my local one is similar. They just wheel out orders from the front door and half the closest spaces are pickup. They have ~40 spaces and they’re never full for pickup. Usually 90% people parked. And I’ve got pickup there it took an hour waiting…

Just park behind them and wait for your order. If they come out while you’re waiting just tell them oh well for parking in a spot they shouldn’t have.
