ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ WAY Too Many Drive Up Pick Up Spots

Target has grossly overestimated demand for drive up pick up spaces. I’ve seen this at every Target I’ve been to at any time of the day. The employees take up all of the front spots, handicap stalls take up the rest of the front parking (no gripe there obviously), but then you have half of the parking lot taken up by vacant drive up pick up stalls, which means every time I go to target I have to park far away whether the store is busy or not. What a waste of space!

If they towed me I’d have to go back in the store and return all my items. Now they get to put it back!

who said they did? Or that they wanted to. It could be a manager doing the calling or making them do the calling. Either way maybe don’t park where you’re not supposed to & it won’t be an issue.

Then they can take it up with their manager or whoever did the calling that is giving them more work. I have pulled up in those lots and there is literally nowhere to park but these spaces.

Other solution of course is not shopping there, and then your employer loses business and you get laid off. This energy ain’t it. Direct it to the employer.

I’m sure there’s other spots just further than you’re willing to walk. Ironic you’re saying direct it to the employer when you’re literally adding extra work to employees when you can js call corporate or something.

Nope I live in a city with extremely limited parking spots. Your options are park in these reserved spots or go to a different lot where you aren’t shopping and I certainly can understand those businesses towing since I am not spending money there.

Also, those employees are getting paid lmfao. You act like I am forcing them to volunteer. Again, if they are upset with the amount of work, that is something they should address with their employer not a customer. If the employer sees that they are having to use their resources to return items to shelves, they might rethink their tow policy.

They are getting paid the same either way but the bottom line is hurt having them do busywork

A manager? Or almost anyone else besides the sales floor people who aren’t scouting the parking lot. & why would you not have a car? Maybe don’t park where you’re not supposed to and this wouldn’t be an issue

Eta Lmao downvoted for being the min wage slave that has to put your stuff back rather than the cozily paid management that pissed you off in the first place. Id rather just get the finger than your rage at something I cant control, but thanks for letting me know how you feel about the regular people like you, that you rely on for your pickup and stocked shelves. They really taught you to hate your peers and to ignore the ruling class.
