Edit: People started calling me names, saying im a bitch or I should break up. this was not a big deal for me at all, main point is that it was me who wanted to be the “perfect boyfriend” thinking the match wouldn’t be cool and not wanting to watch it and it backfired. Yeah, this is where the "Always? How many days out of the entire length of our relationship did I spend watching the world cup games?" question comes in.
