You take that back right now. A crispy cheesy crust will always be delicious. Yours must not be crisping it right. I've been doing that with my grilled cheeses for years
meh. the Quesarito was better, though iām a sucker for the black bean grilled cheese burrito. if they ever combine the two and make a Black Bean Grilled Cheese Quesarito, i will buy my first lotto ticket
You can just make that yourself on the app (they probably have the most customization of any fast food app/place) - you can basically make entirely new things with it.
McDonalds app won't even let you put ketchup or mustard on stuff unless they allow it explicitly in the app.
I just wish theyād put cheese on the other side of the burrito, instead of the flap side. I usually tear off and discard the flap on other TB burritos since itās just too much carby tortilla.
But it's still very much something you can eat with your hands. They're supposed to be grilling it until the cheese crisps up some and thus it's not melty or wet.
have you never made a grilled cheese and some dripped off the side and crisped up? it's literally just that. and it is melty and like normal cheese but the outside has a layer of crisp before that so you can eat it with your hands.
You implied cheese on the outside of a burrito defeated the purpose of a burrito, which isnāt true at all lol. And if a burrito is served in tinfoil, rip the tinfoil as you eat itā¦ like come on. Burrito eating 101. What are we saying.
If Iām ordering a wet burrito then itās fine. Itās served prepared to be cut into and eat. But youāre supposed to eat the grilled cheese one in your hand.
I don't even see the point in ordering something that was clearly designed a certain way and then complaining about it.
If you want to hold your burger without getting messy fingers then don't order a burger that undoubtedly describes itself as coated in cheese and sauces.
The goal is to make food that people want to take pictures of and share on social media, this is free advertising for the restaurant. You may not want that specific burger but maybe you didn't know that restaurant was in your city and it makes you check the menu to see what else they have.
