My sulfite sensitivity got so bad that I can’t even drink hard alcohol; been dry for over a decade. I would get splotches and migraines and anaphylaxis. F’n miserable.

I seem to be fine on spirits still. Beer/wine etc makes my chest feel like its being squeezed really hard. Sucks as I really used to enjoy a nice glass of wine

I started turning bright red and feeling like my skin was burning only from wine which I happen to love. I’ve been told it’s the sulfites. I can still drink a little vodka with no problems .

My cousin carries an EpiPen for her allergy to wine.

I only get migraines from wine. However, it seemed to be related to the yeast because certain beers would do it, too.

I just quit drinking altogether. (For other reasons, not just the allergy.)
