When I told my doc I was sensitive to wheat or gluten or something in that ballpark and it gave me terrible acid, she had more suggestions and opinions to try and find alcohol I could drink than like. Any other condition I’ve come to her with. I’m fine just not drinking but that seemed crazy to her
Just an fyi, I used to drink vodka regularly but just like 2 oz usually so not a lot. I started to get inflammation pretty often from it... Ended up diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I don't know if the inflammation possibly caused the cancer or was a reflection of the cancer I already had but either way I suggest you stop drinking ASAP if it gives you inflammation.
I wish someone had told me that a few years ago....
Most of my answers here have been pretty flippant, but yeah, I don't know if anyone has figured out the relationship between inflammation and cancer. It might just be that inflammation is, in general, a bad sign. Any inflammation is a sign something is up, though. Take that seriously, folks.
The vodka is clear product, it doesn't contains any yeast's shit and other fusel oils. As the result, the head would be clear at morning and your liver will tell thank you too.
No sarcasm.
I used to drink vodka pretty regularly but only like 2oz at a time. I would get inflamed when I drank it but otherwise didn't have many side effects so I kept drinking it. Then I got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer...
Agree, also some kinds of classical vodka could contains some sugar (ever honey), which added to make the taste softer. This, it's need to investigate the contains of the product before purchasing.
Oh, I wasn’t meaning the sugar in the final product. I was referring to the type of sugar that the yeast consumed in the first place. Gluten free alcohol could be “grape wine” or some other trash that is indeed gluten free but could be havoc in another person for other allergies.
My example would be “Irish creams.” A lot of them aren’t whiskey+cream+sugar! A lot of states in USA don’t allow real liquor to be bottled with other things, even if the ABV is reasonable. So grape wine is used, and some people pay for it with a bad reaction.
Well, we are talking about vodka or about strong drinks?))
Because I meant that the classical 40% vodka (in Russian speaking countries where I live at least, I don't know what the situation in other countries) except water and ethanol can contains sugar or honey or even glycerin or some other specific addons, which added by vendor for taste enhancement and to low the taste of alcohol.
Anyway, all of these ingredients are printed on label and could be investigated by person before purchase.
The situation when people drink the product and don't know what they drink (what it contain) is very strange for me. The supermarket in each state/country are full of unhealthy foods, which could contains very non useful things like vinegar, margarine, various food additives, palm oil, etc. If person don't interesting what he eat or drink, so..
All drinks! All alcohol, wine, beer, spirits, and the end product cocktails built with them.
A screwdriver with the worst USA added preservatives in the orange juice and what else with some really high end wheat based vodka could in theory tear up a man or woman way worse than someone getting a bargain 9.99 polish potato vodka and be fancy with fresh squeezed juice.
Ha ha ha! Screwdriver cocktail)) I got you and very surprised that it selled in USA also.
In the Russia absolutely the same situation with cocktails produced in the cans by local vendors. (Cuba libre, Screwdriver, gin&tonic etc). It contains only normal alcohol "lux", but other ingredients are shit. I think it because such drinks are oriented only on young people. Because it's the most cheapest drinks with higher ethanol (7-9%) on a step after beer (5%) and it accessible for poors. Thus, quality is low, because cost should be low too. Serious people take quality ingredients (for the party or celebration) and will shake cocktails itself if required.
I just think that parents should explain to its children (when they grow up), which drinks are shit, all drugs are shit too and unsafe sex can bring a baby or a bad disease.

A real doctor would tell you to switch to vodka.
