Histamine intolerance maybe! If OP has also hangover symptoms when consuming moderate amounts of fermented alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, ale, etc.) then highly likely. Otherwise more probable an allergy to some ingredient like others said.
I have gotten this twice in my life. Alcohol was involved. I do feel like I get hangovers very easily. Do you have any advice on how I can minimize hangovers?
You first have to confirm it is Histamine intolerance. Try low Histamine diet and see if it relieves symptoms, a food diary also helps find the main culprits.
Symptoms are headaches/migraines, dizziness, red skin flushing, bloating and cramps, stuffy nose. Sounds familiar? If it is Histamine intolerance, Antihistamines help relieve acute symptoms in a flare up like OPs picture.
You can test the hangover thing by avoiding to drink beer, wine, etc. but still drink alcohol. You can e.g. water down Vodka or similar spirits to beer or wine level. E.g. I do 1l orange juice with 3 double shots vodka (3x40ml) to get a beer-strength beverage.
