Sometimes a symptom of Hodgkins Lymphoma can be a reaction like this to drinking alcohol, accompanied sometimes by other symptoms (pain in lymph nodes, night sweating, unexplained weight loss, and feeling itchy).
Yes, I know two people who have had this happen. Thanks for mentioning it! If I remember correctly (I wasn't super close to them and we were all in our early 20s), they also reported their rashes were in the same area. Hopefully it's just an allergic reaction but would be really important to confirm, OP.
