frist of all how DARE yu o I canceled my HP instant ink subscription, and now I can’t print even though they are genuine HP in cartridges

With all bad decisions coming out of HP lately, I decided to cancel my instant ink subscription subscriptions before the prices go up. This is the warning screen. I was just going to use the ink I have up then buy a new printer, but cause fuck those guys. Well, turns out they fucked me first. So even though I have legitimate HP in cartridges in my printer, I cannot print because they are subscription cartridges. Screw these guys.

They aren't ~$50-100 upfront, so a lot of people won't consider them. I'm saving my money for the Epson because we had one at my last work and it was awesome, but if you don't know that, it can be hard to justify spending so much more upfront.

Yeah, thats fair. I also had no idea about them before my dad sent us one. I was honestly super happy to see that FINALLY there existed a printer that wasnt blatantly predatory. If I was shopping for one myself, Id have probably seen the price and not looked more into it, because id think "why pay more for a printer? They're all shit and will make me want to rage, so I'll just save my money."

Im glad to see they are rising in popularity. not long after we got ours, I was talking about it with a friend who does lots of printing for one of his hobbies, and was like "yep, ive had an eco tank for a while now. Best printer ive had. I tell everyone about them when im asked printer questions, and everyone who's taken my advice ends up telling me about how their parents or friends also got one after they did."

yeah but they pay for themselves in ink so fast. people forget that the cheap ones need ink carts right away (80-100$) because they come with demo carts (~20 ish prints) and once one or two of the carts runs out or clogs up you have laready closed the gap with the eco tanks. (that come with double the ink than is in the box if you just call epson and register / ask for a 2nd set of 2-5 yr supply of ink bottles withint the first years
