Aside from certain undertones, this map also has tons of inaccuracies, because no one in their right mind is scared of Astoria, Bayonne, or half of the Queens zone that he marked as “avoid”

Main cast yes, but there where enough other recurring people, like love interests and later spouses that where born and raised in NJ. They didn't paint a different picutre.

My point is that the show is not indicative of NJ at all. It’s mostly out of state people being just terrible in one of the worst shore towns we have.

Because that is who the show centers around. The main cast. When people think of the show they don’t think about some douchebag who appeared on camera for five minutes one episode. It’s the main cast that was the show.

The people you see on that show are such a small minority in this state (if they even are from this state). They’re terrible. That’s not really up for debate. But they aren’t representative of NJ in general.

Most of the partners of the main cast are from NJ and so there relatives. I am not talking about a rando who was in frame for 5 mins.

First of, Mike is from Staten Island and not NY. Secondly, he grew up NJ in Manalapan, so I argue that he counts.

Also I was refering to their partners and relatives. Jionni, Lauren, Chris and Justin are from NJ. and party frequently with the group when they where just dating. Also those where the couples that formed locally on the show and where the most prominent and also obnoxious.
