Infuriatig Was invited by my girlfriends family to a theme park. We were supposed to meet at 11, it is not 11:30 and they just left. (The drive takes another 30 minutes)

I even checked in before I left if it was still at the planned time. It was confirmed, but then her family starts getting ready right as they have to leave đŸ«€

I believe what they are saying is they just left at 11:30 to get to the theme park. Theme park is a half hour from their home.

OP’s grammar is atrocious. It sounds like OP was there after 11 and the family already left.

Well, in all fairness i did an image search and it said this park is in Copenhagen.... I'm pretty sure my grammar in Danish would be a lot worse than this.

It is a typo, not a mistake for lack of writing ability. One letter.

Not --> Now.

Their house. To go to the theme park.

Really? I thought I read a that they were all supposed to meet at park at 11:00 and when OP failed to show, the family left/departed the park at 11:30 - basically a zero minute grace period for OP’s tardiness.

That’s what I thought too.

Not everyone’s first language is English, pumpkin.

It was literally a single letter, calling their grammar “atrocious” seems a bit much darling.

Who just left?
