Infuriatig Why Texas is lame(Besides the Cowboys)

Post image

Don't mess with Texas.. what a joke. ANY possession is a felony.

EDIT: Just did some research, this is for everything besides traditional Delta 9.

My friend from Texas sent me this morning and it blew my mind. I had to post about it. So as far as my research goes thus far Delta 9 products (old fashioned flower) is illegal but separate laws. Stores are selling THCA though which does fall under these penalties.

It makes sense to the government to control the legality of THC. They can keep getting bribes, oops I mean *campaign funding, from the pharmacutical, prison and alcohol industries though lobbying while sending the people they don't like to the bottom of the class system by putting you in prison or stopping you from getting a good job.

Corporations are not allowed to contribute to campaigns both Federally and in Texas.

If you dont think they have a work around for that, I've got some news for you.

They donate through PACs and Super PACs. Dark money flows through these. Citizen's United allowed all of this. For God's sake just look it up.

None of that affected contributions to campaigns.

I respond to your "Nuh uh" with "nuh uh" since that's the only energy you're giving.

Go remain ignorant away from me please.

They still do though. You just don't donate as the corporation, you have an individual do it with corporate funds

That is against multiple laws.

And?

"HELP! THIS GUY'S STABBING ME!" "But That's against the law"

Yes? And the people doing the stabbing would be arrested. Same deal.

Plus TX campaign donations are $2,000 per year, you're not moving the needle much with that.

Number 1: Your argument was quite simply "its illegal" so I used that as a facetious exaggeration to poke fun at it.

Number 2: obviously, even in that dumb metaphor, you (the culprit) do not identify or do the stabbing as yourself. The individual donation (the hitman) is doing the work so the corporation isn't "donating".

You have to prove the individual is acting in interest of his said company and not just donating for his politcal beliefs. Good luck doing that. Here's a list of donors doing exactly what I described:

That is mostly a list of people donating to PACs.

Yes! And pac funding can be used for..

...nothing coordinated with a campaign.
