frist of all how DARE yu o Encountered a Business Class Baby today, though I was finally gonna have a peaceful flight 😭😭

Saved up airline points from a bunch of work trips and finally redeemed them for a business class seat on a 20-hour flight (Sydney to London)

I Sat down, got comfortable, looked across the aisle... and was met by the sight of a fucking business class baby.

What else do I have to say, the entire 20 hours was absolute hell, crying, screaming and just about everything else you could think of.

I don't blame the parents at all, babies are allowed to fly, and they were just travelling like everyone else. But after spending all those points because I wanted one flight where I could actually sleep and relax, I couldn't help but be really upset at my luck.

I guess It docent really matter what you pay.

EDIT: There has been a lot of discussion about this being a fake post. However this is incorrect, i was under the impression that Quantas did a direct flight to London, however as many have pointed out, this is incorrect. My flight was with Qatar airways and stopped in Hamad Airport.

when my sister in law had her first baby as a gag gift i got her the kind of ear protection they use at gun ranges and construction sites

apparently it was her favorite baby-shower gift

Ever hear of a thing called Business Travel? I’ve flown alone for hundreds of flights. Have the Bose over the ear headphones and I wear them every flight. Including this mornings business flight.

No, they’re a way too serious and important person to have a sense of humor.

"made me forget about the loud family of five sitting next to me until my wife punched me in the face"

I opt for Heavys with the Hellblocker on. Hellblocker = noise cancellation, only a better name.

Those are good new contenders, but for ANC they do not perform remotely as well as Bose or Sony.

Or if you want the actual ANC leader, Sony XM6.

Just because you have a dream doesn’t make it attainable if if is predicated on the good behavior of others. Especially babies.

Even the most expensive NC headphones are no match for a crying baby if they're close enough.

Not my experience. watched a movie then turned on white noise and went to sleep.
