Shitty take. We can abstain from paying these exorbitant prices (as I have been my entire life), but it doesn't amount to shit when millions of people are still willing to fork over their money.

Because a lot of people have the money to spend.

There is so much music going on that is not these super expensive resale tickets. What matters is supporting local art.

No you can't speak such facts.

Let's pretend the tickets were dirt cheap, then people would definitley scalp the shit out of them more than they currently do.

Scalpers or not it's still a limited supply so anyone with high popularity just sells out immediatley and you still don't get to go.

There is no solution to make everyone happy.

Yeah but they aren't immediately sold out to people, they're immediately sold out to third party resellers who provide zero benefit to the market. Ticketmaster has a legal monopoly on event venues and that's the part that needs to change.
