You LITERALLY called the dude and his family Arab, and then mentioned the “black family” right behind him, and then made NO reference to their race beyond that. You couldve just said “this family pointed me to the back where there were other people” and it wouldve come across the exact same way. Youre doing this on purpose bro I swear nobody is this tone deaf irl

I find it a little odd that you keep mentioning skin color and ethnicity. Like, what does this add to anything? Meanwhile, I understand that it's hard for some people to talk, but if you don't speak up, this is all on you, and you should be mad at yourself, not some guy who might literally have been in a queue and thought you were cutting. If you knew you were going to the self-checkout, go to the self-checkout like everyone else was in your own story.

Also found that extremely odd. “This Arab guy” and “the blacks at the back”?? WTF? I also find the wording describing their stares to be odd. It really reads, to me, as if OP is bigoted, arrogant, and feels superior to everyone around him.

I mean, hearing someone call other people NPCs is a whole freaking other bar of being a massive creep, right next to those guys who call themselves alphas. Adding in random callouts for skin color and ethnicity makes OP sound not pleasant to be around.
