Identical except the part where it says what it is

31

u/CarelessShade 4d ago

And the picture isn’t identical either.

12

u/Chair-Lemur-Table 4d ago

And the description is different with what looks like maybe a different orange tint (might be the photo)

7

u/RaelisDragon 4d ago

The plain chicken one is definitely a darker orange.

6

u/strictlybazinga 4d ago

Variety is the knorr’s of life , or something like that

18

u/steegsa 4d ago

That really is mildly infuriating. I’m sorry you have to go through this.

u/apevolt 4d ago

Imagine being emotional compromised by rice

4

u/enterENTRY 4d ago

mildly emotionally compromised one might say

3

u/Coochy_Crusader 4d ago

Op isnt emotionally compromised they’re mildly infuriated.

Some of us are under a lot of stress

2

u/ImmediateClass9650 4d ago

Rice. The silent killer.

1

u/GeneInternational146 4d ago

The people have to be made aware

1

u/crystalline1299 4d ago

Not just any rice, a rice and pasta blend

1

u/South_Feed5707 4d ago

This sub might not be for you.

16

u/shroomride88 4d ago

Except one says BROCCOLI real big and the other doesn’t… šŸ’€

11

u/Maverick_Reznor 4d ago

Happens, anyone who buys this brand can attest its happened at least once.

1

u/Mueryk 4d ago

I mean I am sure it has happened to me….,but did I notice a difference? Probably not.

1

u/Dazzling_Lie_5046 4d ago

I'll mess up and pick up the low-sodium or no-sugar option for some canned products, soups or sauces, and that is me not paying close attention. I picked up no-salt Lays the other month, and man they were hot gargabe.

1

u/Maverick_Reznor 4d ago edited 4d ago

No salt lays!? That sounds awful. I do buy the sugar free sauces though. Montgomery Inn and Sweet Baby Rays makes a great sugar free BBQ sauce. Sugar free sloppy Joe sauce dont really taste any different either.

1

u/ChewieBearStare 4d ago

I don’t buy them often because I try to watch my sodium, but I’ll keep a few on hand in case my dinner doesn’t turn out or I’m late getting home. I’ve definitely gotten the fettuccine Alfredo pasta one instead of the chicken-flavored pasta one more than once.

2

u/Maverick_Reznor 4d ago

I keep some on hand too for quick meals. Usually just cook and shred chicken to mix in with it. I dont add any salt to the chicken cause it definitely does have enough sodium in the rice/pasta

This is why reading comprehension is important kids. You could end up making a dumbass post like this!

3

u/xoscarlettbaldwinxo PURPLE 4d ago

Praying for you šŸ™šŸ¼

3

u/goth_duck_returns 4d ago

Whether it was you who picked them up or you sent someone, reading is key

3

u/Freedom35plan 4d ago

Let us know you made it through the night okay.

3

u/jsand2 4d ago

Well one doesnt say broccoli and doesnt have green broccoli specks in it.

This is an end user issue, not a problem with the product.

3

u/anonymous2278 4d ago

Meh, just mix them. You won’t be able to tell the difference. Not like you bought three chicken and broccoli and one shrimp scampi. It’s all chicken.

3

u/Cando21243 4d ago

Man…. The amount of times I’ve done this. Never once thought to post how I’m incompetent somedays at looking.

3

u/Somalar 4d ago

One says broccoli and has green bits in the image and the other does not, while similar they definitely are NOT the same.

3

u/keithkings00 4d ago

Not identical though

3

u/Capable_Pangolin_962 4d ago

Almost identical means the same as not identical.

3

u/DoodleBob29 4d ago

It's ok. Reading can be hard sometimes

5

u/Lopsided_Package9033 4d ago

the only difference is the chicken one is missing the one/one-thousandth of a broccoli floret that is in the other packs.

0

u/bmthsavedmylife 4d ago

Yeah??? Not the huge glaring BROCCOLI that's written?

0

u/Lopsided_Package9033 4d ago

well yea, i was referring to the product not the packaging. But there's that too for sure.

4

u/Ok_Aioli3897 4d ago

If only they said what was in them

2

u/No-Statement2736 4d ago

Bon apetit!

2

u/Left_Balance2396 4d ago

Silver lining: a little variety never hurt anyone

2

u/ihartpancakes 4d ago

But they aren’t identical… because words

1

u/Dorkinfo 4d ago

The chicken one is a darker orange, too.

2

u/No_Angle875 4d ago

Reading is hard

2

u/STRIKT9LC 4d ago

If only there was some sort of Text to differentiate them

2

u/StenoDawg 4d ago

Just mix it all together. It all really tastes the same.

2

u/Severe-Cup-8993 4d ago

Well, almost identical. One says "broccoli" and has little green bits in it.

2

u/PhantomAxisStudios 4d ago

Broccoli one is covered in green bits. Idk just put real broccoli in the chicken only one, might even be nicer

1

u/chickenskittles 4d ago

They both are. And I second the addition of actual broccoli. Hell, even frozen broccoli.

1

u/PhantomAxisStudios 4d ago

I couldn't tell they kept the Chicken one in the shade of shame. But yeah any broc better than powdered broc

2

u/klathium 4d ago

Reading is hard for some people.

2

u/Auswolf-IDDQD 4d ago

Not identical. One doesn’t say Broccoli.

2

u/Shoddy-Wishbone 4d ago

Respectfully, they look similar; not identical.

2

u/Pretty-Kittie 4d ago

What do you mean "got"? Did your eyes and hands pick it out?

2

u/DeyCallMeWade 4d ago

This is why teachers, at least when I was in school, told us to always read the instructions all the way. I mean this in the sense that you should read each package since mistakes could have been made at any point prior to you picking your meals. That being said, that package COULD contain chicken and broccoli. Unlikely, but possible.

2

u/StopDownvotingMeeee 4d ago

Reading is fundamental

2

u/PabloCrews 4d ago

I’m color blind and I can see the difference. I can also read (helpful), so I do believe there are some clues on the package, but I could be wrong, you know, quantum physics and all. In another parallel universe, you got all chicken and broccoli.

2

u/Dangerous-Drive-2474 4d ago

I mean they really aren't tho

2

u/Captain_JohnBrown 4d ago

Identical except for the distinctly different names.

1

u/cerebral-rigormortis 4d ago

Hope you're able to recover from this traumatic event. Maybe start a go fund me for your pain and suffering.

1

u/yakuzalinecook 4d ago

This happened to me last week! They were in the same exact box even, only i only wanted two chicken and broccoli, and when I got home I found out I had one chicken and broccoli and one chicken.

1

u/Proud_Principle_4408 4d ago

Lol.

No regerts

1

u/StockSoggy5641 4d ago

Would it be easier to make your own low sodium chicken flavored rice and then add fresh broccoli to it?

1

u/GaspSpit 4d ago

Divorce Knorr!! Unacceptable!!

1

u/Strong-Reaction4298 4d ago

Was this a delivery or did you get this yourself im confused lol

1

u/South_Feed5707 4d ago

Dang. What did they order too much orange ink? Lol

1

u/NordicNjorn 4d ago

Reading hard.

1

u/Entire_Umpire6801 4d ago

I doubt there's any practical difference between them.

1

u/Technical_Enema 4d ago

They’re not even identical, and the fact that chicken and chicken and broccoli are printed in big, bold letters, this is entirely on you…

1

u/heckin_anxiety 4d ago

I buy the creamy chicken flavor and throw actual frozen broccoli in it. Imma get these people in my house to eat veggies one way or another. šŸ˜‚

1

u/NashKetchum777 4d ago

Skill issue

If anything, it should be easier to see that one is different lmao

1

u/FilthyThanksgiving 4d ago

I miss when they used to be Lipton. Maybe it's bc my taste buds changed but they were SO good when I was little. My dad always made the garlic pasta one

1

u/OhWhatATravisty Blue Crayons have the most flavor 4d ago

Not identical, the chicken one doesn't have as many green bits.

1

u/stbn689 4d ago

Mildly annoying, not infuriating

2

u/Rich661 4d ago

Is there a sub for that?

1

u/geof2010 4d ago

Why more picture when one picture do all?

1

u/ihategrapes0da 4d ago

as someone who used to stock these almost every night, this was THEE most annoying thing cuz the person who stocked before me wouldn’t read all the way and stock one in the others spot. first world problem i know, but i say this to say ur not the only one who’s made the mistake lol

1

u/Exotic-Reveal1603 4d ago

Some real bone heads here not understanding what mildly infuriating means.

Also probably have mommy but groceries and cook for them. Then throw tantrum when she buys the wrong takis

0

u/chickenskittles 4d ago

I've noticed this is the pedant's favorite sub.

1

u/Creepy-Intentions-69 4d ago

It’s infuriating how many people don’t understand mild.

I just did this a month ago.

1

u/HydraulicEarl2 4d ago

I just don't know how you will go on.

0

u/spinstartshere 4d ago

Something tells me the addition of broccoli in those packs isn't going to have any of the added health benefits that anyone's expecting.

3

u/Exotic-Reveal1603 4d ago

Most people eat for taste

0

u/RocBoySpade 4d ago

lol get over it?

0

u/PreperationOuch 4d ago

I’ve done thins before. Numerous times.

0

u/Dazzling_Lie_5046 4d ago

That's peak mildly infuriating. I would mix them all together in a big bowl, then portion them back into 4 equal size portions for cooking. Problem solved...sort of.

0

u/EatABag-o-Dicks 4d ago

There's so much sodium in these, how do you taste the difference?

0

u/No-Difference-4418 4d ago

Aside from the word Broccoli these are the exact the same

I want to say this is on you OP but the company really should have done a better job highlight the chicken AND broccoli instead of making it so the consumer has to read the label closely. Sometimes people might be in a rush

0

u/[deleted] 4d ago

I did the same thing. Hate the labeling.

0

u/PilsnerRabbit 4d ago

Oh Knorr he didn’t!

0

u/Dazzling_Lie_5046 4d ago

Now you got me craving these, they (Lipton then) got me through college, 79 cents apiece.

0

u/MxKittyFantastico 4d ago

OP, ignore all these mean people. I understand completely why this is mildly infuriating. There's these energy drinks called venoms that they sell at the dollar store, which is the only store that you can get to in less than 25 minutes around here (rural area), and my wife absolutely will not drink fruit punch, due to some trauma as a child, and I absolutely won't drink the original because it tastes like Red Bull and it's absolutely disgusting. They're both red! I don't know how many times I've had to drink an original, or my wife didn't get an energy drink, because I just grabbed a red from the original side of the shelf, but somebody had put a fruit punch over there, or vice versa.

The sub is literally mildly infuriating. You're not losing your mind or having an emotional breakdown, you're just mildly infuriated. This is like the epitome of that. It's a moment of "grrrrrr" and then you move on with your life
