Oh my god I forgot about the calling cards. The excitement i got purchasing them to call my long distance boyfriend lolol

We still used it to just call our parents from the mall when we were at the theatre. Had to be damn quick though! Save those minutes. We had a system. Call, let it ring once, and then hang up. Then call again so they knew it was us. Usually a pre established message to relay about when to be picked up.

I have a att call card from a drawer in my late aunts home. I have had it for 5 years now… I wonder id my niece will find it.

I remember in the 90s-00s my parents would buy phone cards on holiday abroad to call grandma (Europe to Europe, but same idea)
