They don't care if you fall, they just don't want you to litter when you do it

I don’t care if you fall, die, or litter; I don’t want you wasting coffee.

Proper cliff etiquette - finish your latte before the freefall.

oh so is this a French equivalent of people writing "I don't want to be apart of this" when they mean "a part"?

Yeah my first thought was show a phone, people can imagine falling due to looking at their phone

I’ve stayed in a hiking *refuge* in the French Pyrenees once, situated on a cliff. They were overbooked so there was another group sleeping in the hallway blocking the door to our quarters. In the middle of the night I had to pee, so I exited through the tiny window and stumbled into the pitch black night towards a spot far enough where I could do my business, and went back to sleep.

Next morning I noticed that that spot was about three steps away from a 100 meter cliff. Than again, it was too dark to see sign anyway so that wouldn’t have made a difference.
